The International Association of Applied Economics ASEPELT wishes to reward young researchers and promote scientific work in the field of Applied Economics. With this objective, the I ASEPELT Young Researchers Award is announced: Bernardo Pena Award.
The Award will go to the best Work, unpublished and unpublished, presented at the Congress. All papers presented at the Congress signed by one or more researchers are eligible for the Award. To be eligible for the prize, all authors must be under 35 years of age on the date of the Congress. The Young Researcher who publicly defends the work in any of the Sessions of the Congress will be awarded.
Authors must express their express desire to participate in the Award and the complete work must be submitted BEFORE MAY 30. In addition, the authors must present the signed declaration (download here) where it appears not only the unpublished character of the communication but the age of each one of the authors signatories of the same one, and to send it for the Secretariat of the Congress (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The Jury of said award will be formed by members of the Academic and Executive Councils of the Association; as well as the Editing Councils of Applied Economics Studies and ASEPELT.org, who are not authors of the works that aspire to the award, nor have a family or institutional link with them. This Jury will take into account the opinion of the Scientific Committee of the Congress and of the moderators of the tables where the presentation will be held. The result will be announced at the Congress Gala Dinner.
The Award will be accredited with the corresponding Diploma, which will be delivered at the same Gala Dinner. This work will be published in the journal Estudios de Economía Aplicada. The Jury may also award a runner-up award. Similarly, the Award may be declared void.
